Crawford Public School is located in Doonside, Western Sydney, and it has been serving the local community since 1977. We have a large school, which holds up to 24 classes. Our facilities include: a connected classroom, EAL/D room, Aboriginal Cultural Centre, computer room, a well resourced library, a school hall and our large playground is equipped with play equipment, cricket nets and basketball/netball courts.
Our school motto is "Initiative" and this is the focal point of our day-to-day operations. We encourage our students to think for themselves and to make active and valued judgements on how they better themselves and society. The SRC are the leaders of this message, they are guided by our staff to make sound decisions for the benefit of their peers and our wider school community.
Student learning at Crawford Public School, is our core business. Our staff are highly qualified teachers and continue to develop their expertise through professional learning opportunities.
